The next Senior Adult potluck luncheon has been planned for Valentine’s Day, Thursday, February 14 at the LRC building. All LRC and Gateway members who are 55 or older are asked to attend. LRC and Gateway Church are going to the Rave to see “The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything.” We’ll see the 2:10 PM showing at the Rave theater on Colonel Glenn Rd.

A women’s event is planned for Feb. 1-2 at the LRC building. It is called Ladies Winter Refuel, and will be Friday evening and Saturday morning until around 12:30. Mary Lee Dell will be our speaker.

Location: Toyota Center in Houston, TX
Cost: $135 per student. Cost includes transportation, lodging, conference fee, dinner on Friday night, breakfast Saturday morning, and lunch on Saturday. The girls will need to bring extra money for dinner Saturday night and meals on Sunday coming home.
Details: We will leave from LRC on Friday, Feb. 22 at 7 AM and return to LRC on Sunday, Feb. 24 around 5 PM. The group will stay at the Southwest Hilton in Houston. Chad and Deana Nall will be driving. The conference begins at 7 PM on Friday night. It ends Saturday at 4 PM. The girls will have the opportunity to go to the Houston Galleria Mall on Saturday evening for dinner and shopping.
Scholarships are available. Contact Chad if you need financial assistance. We can make payment arrangements to help. Please don’t let the finances be a reason to keep from going!
To register:
1. Submit $25 deposit by Nov. 11. (This may be refunded if cancelled by Jan. 13)
2. Final payment is due Jan. 13.

Students in grades 7-12 are invited to the Nichols Ministry Building on Friday night, from 7-10 PM. We will have an open gym/coffee shop night for our teens. We’ll serve drinks and snacks free of charge. Students are encouraged to invite a friend. Our hope is for this to become a monthy event for our teens to invite friends they are praying for.
